Kelsey Keepsake Unicorn: Plushmaking

Plush-making is an art form of infinite possibility and imagination. Kelsey Keepsake Unicorn will teach you all about gussets, eyes, turning, stuffing, button joints, and all the other skills you will need to create the creatures of your dreams. This class is held over two sessions to give students plenty of time to decorate, customize, and personalize their unicorn, while taking the time to really understand the geometry of soft sculpture.

Tools needed:
Sewing machine, hand needle, rotary cutter (preferred), dollmaker's needle

fabric (non-stretchy and not fur, but any print you would like your horse/unicorn to be), matching thread, two small buttons OR glass eyes, four large (1" or so buttons), embroidery floss, decorative elements of your choice.

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Beginner - but very familiar with operating your sewing machine
Materials Included: Plush pattern and stuffing.
Requirements: Able to cut and sew.
