Or perhaps less tricks and more just a confidence boost knowing someone will be there to help you through if you get stuck. In this class you will learn:

  • matching thread
  • bias tape
  • seam gauge
  • pins/clips

Beginner Series classes #1 and #2 are *not* required to take this course. However it will be assumed you have generally the knowledge covered in those two classes for this one. Such as, tracing patterns, ability to read pattern, and ability to use your own/borrowed sewing machine.

Purchasing this class provides you with the teaching time. You will also need to purchase the amount of fabric needed for the size of pants you wish to make from SEAMS. We require the purchase of fabric from SEAMS since the class price is entirely in support of the teacher. The SEAMS Team greatly appreciates you supporting both the teacher and the store.

This class is a bring your own machine class. If you are unfamiliar with using your machine please book an one hour "Get to Know Your Machine" one on one class by emailing
