Wrapped Rope Bowls in Kalamazoo
Join us at the Kalamazoo shop and learn how to use readily available clothesline rope and a sewing machine with a zig zag stitch to make fun, colorful baskets or bowls wrapped with fabric scraps.
We will provide everything needed for you to make several small vessels, including rope, thread, and fabric scraps, as well as light refreshments.
YOU will bring your sewing machine (must be capable of doing a zig zag stitch) and any additional fabric scraps you may want to use.

| Instructor Bio: | Amber is a Fiber artist that started out as a garment sewist, and gradually tried everything until she ended up with her current focus on three dimensional machine embroidery. She is a disability advocate, and strives to provide comfortable, supportive instruction to any student she teaches so that anyone can achieve success in sewing. She loves simple, easy-gratification makes, and the Ogden Cami is one of her favorite closet-staples; she has made over 25 of them already! |
